Short Notice Driving Tests
We will endevour to accommodate clients with a short notice driving test on the understanding that the client agrees to a 2 hour pre-test lesson and that in the opinion of your assessment that you are of test standard. This is a road safety issue, which we hope you will understand. In addition to the minimum 2 hour pre test, car hire cost is €180 which includes, a 1 hr and 15 mins of warm up drive, prior to the actual driving test. 
Block Bookings
Fast track your learning experience with AutoStar Driving School, clients may avail of our advance "block booking system" where they can book up to eight weeks in advance, in one or two hour slots on any or all days of the business week |
EDT Course LessonsComplete your obligatory 12 hour (minimum) EDT lesson course and have your EDT driving experience log completed and uploaded to the RSA website on a lesson and lesson basis.
What are EDT Lessons The full course of 12 EDT lessons must be undertaken by law for all learner drivers. To book a course clients must pay in full where all lessons will be taken in 2-hour blocks i.e. 6 x 2 hour slots at a time suitable to you and the driving school. Fast Track EDT In an effort to facilitate our clients, and to get the best from your learning process, we endevour to conclude our fast track EDT process within a two week time frame.

Pre-Test & Vehicle Hire During the pre test lesson, we will go through your driving technique and explain what you need to know, understand and implement to increase your chances of passing your driving test.
The pre-test will cover all aspects of your driving test and aim to correct any bad habits you may have created during sponsor practice. You will be assessed on the following, listed in no particular order...
